1 Chronicles 14:13-17

Once more the Philistines raided the valley; so David inquired of God again, and God answered him," Do not go straight up, but circle around them and attack them in front of the balsam trees. As soon as you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the balsam trees. As soon as you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the balsams trees, move out to battle, because that will mean God has gone out in front of you to strike the Philistine army." So David did as God commanded him, and they struck down the Philistine army, all the way from Gibeon and Gezer. So David's fame spread throughout every land, and the Lord made all the nations fear him.

In this verse, the enemy came but David conquered the enemy because God fought for him in the spirit first, before David won in the flesh. From this, we can learn 3 things.

1. Favour

David had favour with God. God was on his side and with God, he conquered the enemy. This shows we need to have favour with God because if God is on our side, who can stand against us.

2. Wisdom

David had wisdom. He was not foolhardy and went to attack the enemy before God moved in the spirit. David obeyed God as he was commanded and he didn't question God. This shows we need to be wise and follow God's instruction because everything is engineered through him and he knows everything and naturally as humans, we want to follow someone who is greater than us, yes?

3. Stature

When David conquered the enemy, God made him known through all the nations and they all feared him. God gave him stature and influence because David had found favour with God and David had the wisdom to follow God. This shows that if we want to have stature and great influence in our schools, we need to think and say everything that pleases our God and have the wisdom to wait for God to move before we move.

When we conquer the enemy, when we conquer the devil, we will naturally have found favour with God, have wisdom to follow God and gained stature from God and that is the beginning of leadership.

what is big?
every big things starts from small e.g mustard seed. why a mustard seed ?
because it is one of the smallest seed in the world but as it grows it will become a huge tree. talking about seeds look at the durian the seed is quite big right but its still grows into a huge tree nothing will grow from big too small but it will keep growing. there is no meaning "growing shorter' human beings, plants ,fruit or seeds will not shrink but it will keep growing the only time where it shrinks is when the plant withers away . God has engineered growth these way its the same with our faith.

when we first accept Christ our faith is still small but when we grow in God it will be bigger. God always uses small things to do important roles such as your eye browns. your eye brown make a big difference, why? when you sweat, your sweat will role down from your fore head it prevents sweat going into your eyes.wow i did not know until wei jie told me i thought it was just for show so many people cut their eye brown untill there is no more haha .

Just had a sudden thought.
addicts of this world are mostly addicts for the wrong thing, drug addict, alcoholics, money...
but what addicts are we?
Addiction to these people of the world, they want to satisfy it, or else they will really be desperate and do whatever it takes, yeah, whatever it takes to get what they want.
are we going to be like them?
not in a way we become addicts for drugs and everything! haha.
how about, God-addict.
Lets have this hunger like them, a sense of desperateness when we are without God, its a addiction, a hunger that we have to, and want to satisfy.
When we are stopped from meeting with God, are we going to do whatever it takes to get back to Him?
thats something i have learnt today. :)

do you know the movie red cliff where kingdoms fight each other. i watched that movie to day something just inspired me during the movie. is like soliders preparing for war then they took out a note saying that they are willing to die in the battle. it takes so much courage to die for the kingdom. when God sees your note that you are willing to trust him and follow him He will lead you to victory . when the battle starts they said" as swift as the wind, as gentle as forest, as fierce as fire, as firm as the mountains" all these terms can apply in us.

As swift as the wind: it means the fast, mobilized

As fierce as fire:it means just attack with full force. EVing and prayer

As gentle like the forest: being relax during stress Trust God!

As firm as a mountain: Convictions that make you firm and strong as you
seek God

all these terms means something...
Our commander and General always planed for us something big to fight or to Conquer in our life but its our choice weather you want to decide , to Choose God's command or your own. And He has made stretergy of ways to win the devil or problems.

Your Crown in Your Life

The hair on your head is widely regarded as the crown on your head all around the world. It beautifies a person and makes a person look good. However, sometimes, we bald and one of these reasons we bald because we get worried and when we start to lose hair, we don't look as good as before. This is true with the way we have to lead our lives. If we start to worry, we start to slowly lose a bit of it until our lives starts to turn miserable and we start to lose the crown that shows the world we are sons and daughters of our God, our king. And as we worry, we start to lose faith and without faith, it's impossible to please God.

So let's stop worrying and let faith amount in our hearts.

Hey guys!! BLOGGER CRASHED AND I CANT POST PHOTOS. CRAP
i just felt the urge to share with you guys about the encounter i had with God yesterday :)
this few days, i had been feeling really tight and pushed, but God was really awesome. i was randomly flipping through the bieble, wanting to look if God wants to show me any verses, and that time i was really desperate for His word.
i flipped through the bible, and i saw this.
Psalm 31:24
Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen you heart, all you who hope in the Lord.
and
Psalm 27:14
Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, Wait I say, on the Lord!

sometimes, it just takes and extra effort, to wait, to keep looking for God, even if things are bad.
we just have to be courageous, just be brave and face these things. Be courageous, wait on Him, and He will strengthen you heart.
when i was worshipping Him, i felt really terrified, afraid, but God's presence just came. He told me "be of good courage, be brave"
from that moment, i started crying. God's presence just acme in so thick.
God's presence is just so amazing.

Spiritual Food For Thought

I was in the toilet shitting when this little cool idea popped up in my head.

The church is the body of Christ and the body of Christ needs to eat which we have spiritual food. Now, there is power in agreement and weakness in disagreement. So imagine with me when the body of Christ eats spiritual food but if the stomach is in disagreement, what would happen to the spiritual food? It will become shit. Literally. The spiritual food will be undigested and you just shit it out. But when the stomach is in agreement, the spiritual food will be digested and when we eat, we get strength. So the same way the body of Christ works. When the body of Christ eats good spiritual food, the body of Christ grows stronger because the spiritual food provides energy. So that's why we need to be strong in prayer. We need to be strong in the word of God. We need to have good spiritual food because we make up the body of Christ and the body of Christ needs all these spiritual food so that it will be able to grow stronger and reach greater heights(imagine the body of Christ has puberty).

So that's just my spiritual food for thought in the toilet.

HOGC means to me alot, its a place where i can call home. if Heart of God Church wasn't here i would be just waiting for life to over haha. But now a new purpose a destiny is placed in me. in CG the sermon was 5 roles of a spiritual home. Is like Church is our next home and its really our home! Amen! Because we have Pastors that trust us to serve in church handling the expensive equipment and we have the priviledge to serve. In some churches not saying that they are bad or what, they are afraid to let young people to use the sound console or the lights maybe a broom stick haha. And church is a place to be inspired and to refresh yourself spiritualy and physicaly. As God spoke to me it says that In the world when others do better than you, you are jealouse but in church others do better than you, you are inspired, thats a wow ! God can just speak to you anytime and place. I love God. Being real , is like being your natural self . Being real is not being suspisious or wierd. we can be Spiritual but not spooky. so thats all Folks good luck for exams .

the verse starts in 1Corinthians 9:16-27(NLT)

16 Yet preaching the Good News is not something I can boast about. I am compelled by God to do it. How terrible for me if I didn’t preach the Good News!
17 If I were doing this on my own initiative, I would deserve payment. But I have no choice, for God has given me this sacred trust. 18 What then is my pay? It is the opportunity to preach the Good News without charging anyone. That’s why I never demand my rights when I preach the Good News.
19 Even though I am a free man with no master, I have become a slave to all people to bring many to Christ. 20 When I was with the Jews, I lived like a Jew to bring the Jews to Christ. When I was with those who follow the Jewish law, I too lived under that law. Even though I am not subject to the law, I did this so I could bring to Christ those who are under the law. 21 When I am with the Gentiles who do not follow the Jewish law,I too live apart from that law so I can bring them to Christ. But I do not ignore the law of God; I obey the law of Christ.
22 When I am with those who are weak, I share their weakness, for I want to bring the weak to Christ. Yes, I try to find common ground with everyone, doing everything I can to save some. 23 I do everything to spread the Good News and share in its blessings.
24 Don’t you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win! 25 All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize. 26 So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing. 27 I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified.

yeah, so basically, this verse written by Paul had something to do with evangelism(yeah!)
If you guys have heard of it, we often say that when we want to integrate people, evanglise we always mention something like "exiting our world to enter theirs". maybe we might think that this is just a "method" of evangelising that we have come up with. but thats not true! God has even mentioned it here in v.16-23 about it. God encourages it! Paul said something that even though he is not a jew, but he lived like a jew, with the jew, and following the jewish law, even though he is not required to do so, but he do so to bring people to Christ! :)
something good in us in v.18 is this, that we do not demand for anything as reward as we bring friends to church and sharing the gospel, for God has given us this "sacred trust".
its amazing mann really! i just randomly flipped the bible and saw this. i was really impacted by it.
sometimes, when for example that our friends whom we are integrating likes to play dota, but you simply detest dota. but lets start making the effort to exit our own world, to enter theirs, just like Paul! He could have completely ignore or go against the jewish law, but he didnt so as to win some lives over to Christ! :D but however in the midst of it, we do not go against the law of God. :)

wow today was an awesome service i can see people were touch by presence of God, it was thick .
today the ops was run by Zone F so cool it came to pass and one day we will run service by ourself.

And now school is reopening and go back school with a energy! as we sing our school song and say our pledge start to 4d that all this people in the assembly hall will worship God , not clenching their fist to put o their chest but imagine that they will raise their hand to worship God and raise the flag our Jesus's banner up and tell the school we are back to conquer lives. so more opportunities will start to come and reach out to our schools and believe that one day this assembly hall wont be just a hall but Gods hand will be there...

Stereotypes

This is my thoughts on what Dom preached today..

Stereotypes are basically people put a tag on people based on their impression. It just limits potential all over estimate the abilities of another. Unless we really want to know them, we have no right to label or to judge simply because we don't know them at all! And because behind every front they put out be it the tough guy, or the gangster, or the church girl, or the nerdy guy, there is a dream and as people of God, it is really our duty to fulfill that dreams in the ways of God. And we shouldn't force them to prove because they should have nothing to prove! Just like any other human, they deserve the same opportunities, the same respect. We want people who are real and authentic, not a person who must prove himself in life. And through this sermon, we can see that God really sees the heart while man just embrace the impressions.

Let's be generation that wants to know people and not be judgmental!

A Privilege, Not A Right

Deuteronomy 7:6

'For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession.'

We as people of God are holy to him. It's not our right that we may receive eternal salvation, it was a God-given destiny. We weren't born to be people of God so that when we die, we will go to heaven but we were chosen by God to be his people. Let's not think for once that going to heaven was our right but in fact, it's our privilege and as fast as privileges can be given, it can also be taken away. The bible says that what is precious to us is also precious to God and so if our destiny is his treasured possession, shouldn't this destiny given by God be our treasured possession?

Let's not be Esau who sold his birthright for some bread and some stew and then despised his birthright because of his foolishness. Temptations do come but would you rather have things of this world or have this things from God? Anyone can have the things of this world but not everyone has a destiny to be with God for eternity. God can bless you with the things of this world but the world cannot bless you with the things of God. God is so unlimited but this world is very limited.

And this destiny of ours, it's an eternal privilege, not a right.

hey guys! its daryl here! its has long since i blogger here!! haah =)
last few days, God has impacted me with a great word, just one word and its is called, FOUNDATION.

because that day, i was thinking about my mMaris Stella revival, and how this revival can be taken into another level. and i was thinking that maybe i should start building foundation. suddenly, i was caught in this thought, and FOUNDATION was such a chim word that i wouldnt like sort of think of, and i felt that it was what God was saying to me.

God is trying to tell me that if i want this revival to really grow powerfully, i must really build the foundations of the revival, before making really big things and progress. without foundations, this revival will crash.

i suddenly remembered the scripture about a man building a house, he would have to settle down and count his cost, also building a foundation.

i was telling God, i will build this foundation alongside with my friends, the faith foundation, the love foundation, the heart of compassion for people foundation. without foundations, the revival will ost likely crash.

lets build our foundations today! =)

Candle Light

Yea I know it's quite weird to receive a revelation at 2am in the morning on a school night but I still did and yea, it's quite long and I think quite powerful.

God sent us to be the light of the world. He chose us to be with him when we die so what kind of light are we? We are candle lights. Imagine with me this big, dark room. That represents the world and all of it's worldly things and every single human being on this Earth is being represented by a candle each. Now imagine all of our candles are being lit up already because we are ignited by the spirit of God.

What keeps a fire going? The answer is oxygen. We need oxygen, spiritual oxygen, to keep us going, to keep our fire ignited. And that fire will be the light of the world, the light in the darkness. But more than just showing the way of Christianity, we have to literally touch the lives of others. But as candles, how do we move nearer to other candles without anyone moving us? If we do move, it's obviously supernatural. And what is supernatural? Faith. If we have faith as candles, we can draw closer to other candles and touch their lives with our flame. God can push us to other candles of the world. God can do the impossible.

So back to spiritual oxygen. Who gives us spiritual oxygen? God is the one who gives us spiritual oxygen so God is the one who keeps us burning. When we grow tired and weary, we know we can depend on God for more spiritual oxygen to reignited and keep us going.

Now God is the same yesterday, today and forever. Notice that when a candle burns, the candles gets smaller and smaller as the candle keeps burning but the flame stays the same. This really tells us that God doesn't increase at all but God increases in our own life. See the difference? As we have faith in the Lord, we decrease, but God increases in our lives.

But don't let the fire die out like how our spirit will be of being but without life.

And yea, let's shine in the world.

Spiritual Perfection

What does Spiritual Perfection mean? It means that if we are led by our spirit, we literally will not sin.

The bible says when we accept Christ into our lives, it is no longer us but Christ living in us and we are saved from sin.

But people also fail to see that in spirit, with have also conquered death. So in truth, with Christ in our lives, we can conquer everything only if we are spiritually led. But don't get this perception that conquering everything is doing anything. We are still humans and if we are spiritually led, we are able to do the natural stretched to its maximum, not the supernatural because our body is still very much natural.

But that aside, it also means that we have the ability to conquer all circumstances and situations in our lives if we seek God first and be led by our spirit.

Recreation From Sacrifice Part 2

Now we know that only with the Holy Spirit can recreation take place and breakthroughs come from recreation but we have to surrender what we have for God moves in what we have and not what we don't have.

2 Corinthians 9:6

Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.

Our God wants us to give our all to him but don't forget that he too loves us back and he will bless us back even more. Now, we shouldn't think that what we have is insignificant or what we have is not enough. The bibles says that we will reap what we sow. So actually, it's not about how much we have to sow but it's about whether we sow or not.

2 Corinthians 4:8-9

We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.

It's also not about our circumstances because God is greater than that. Now, God will give seeds to the sower so that we can sow even more seeds, not keep it for ourselves.

2 Corinthians 9:10-11

Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.

When we sow, we will see a breakthrough. When we sacrifice generously, God will increase our harvest. God will enlarge it. God will give us a breakthrough. Above all, we have to thank God for the breakthrough. We have to have the attitude of gratitude. But don't be afraid of sowing what you have been blessed with. Things that are precious to us is also precious to God and as long as you have faith, God will be faithful.

2 Corinthians 9:7

Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Sacrifice cheerfully for there is nothing stronger than the love of God. Surrender what we have in our hands and God will manifest and recreate it. Lastly, we have to learn to wait for God because God's timing is always perfect and he knows when to bless us but be assured he will bless us.

Psalm 27:14

Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.

Just to sum everything up, have faith in what we sow, thank God that he was faithful to us, recreation from sacrifice will bring breakthroughs in our lives.

Recreation From Sacrifice Part 1

Many times in life we want breakthroughs in our own life but how do we get those breakthroughs? We pray and pray for a breakthrough but God sent us to the world so that we can make things happen and not ask God to do everything for us so actually, when we pray, God is helping us, not doing it for us. He makes the impossible become possible. He doesn't make the impossible come to pass. He helps us to overcome obstacles, he doesn't overcome it for ourselves. So when we pray for a breakthrough, we still have to actually make it happen ourselves.

Now what is creating? It is causing to come into being.

Genesis 1:1

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

God caused the heavens and the earth to come into being.

Now then, what is recreating?

Genesis 2:7

the Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

Genesis 1:27-28

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground.

From this 3 verses, we can see that God recreated the earth into man.

Genesis 1:26

Then God said," Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."

Now notice, God said "us" and "our" and not "me" and "mine". Who was the other person?

Genesis 1:2

Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

Notice that even until now, the Spirit of God has not stopped hovering over the Earth and that is how recreation could have and can still take place and also, the bible didn't say that the Spirit of God stopped hovering over the earth. The Spirit of God is the image of the woman since the Spirit of God is the helper of God, likewise woman, the helper of man, and that was how the image of woman appeared but that's a different thing altogether.

Hello everyoneeeeeee!

How's school and everything? Haha, still able to cope or are you still in the holiday mood? HAHA! no more l4d man! Now that school has started, it's time we prioritize our time properly and plan! School, cca, homework, church, God, family, exams. These are more or less the things in our head right now each day. But will we be able to put God and church first in our list? That whenever we receive a last minute SMS at 9pm on a monday night that there will be a prayer meeting tmr at 6pm, will we be able to say, "yup i can make it." or are we placing things above God? Radicalism.

Will be a whole new different generation, that we won't live a double standard live of compromises? That we don't change whether it is the holidays or school is right in our face. It's so easy to chiong during the holidays, there's no homework, no exams, no stress! But it's really a different story with school man. Will we stay strong to our convictions? Or are they just mere words that we say out of excitement?

Relate To Lead

Relate to lead. It's a really cool thing. Relationship is friendship and friendship is the highest form of leadership. That's why HOGC leaders are so different compared to the rest of the church leaders around the world. HOGC leaders have developed true friendship with pastors and that's why they are so great now. Pastor Lia once said that the friends we make determines who we are and that's why the stronger the relationship we have with our leaders, the better the replica of our leaders we become. Like Charleston, he's such a great replica of Pastor How. Not clones, but replica. Now we need to learn to have our leaders as our friends and likewise as a leader to his/her people. Knowing is the highest form of love and love is the greatest form of friendship. And lastly, about knowing God has our saviour, our lord, our master, our king, our refuge of strength, it's so important to also know him as a friend. We have to know him as our best friend or else we will never ever fully submit to him because we will never be intimate with him and we weren't be fully convicted. Well, just wanna share with the CG this story today! It was quite inspiring and it really touched me! Here it is:

There was this guy, he was an quite an outstanding leader in school and he had won himself many awards. So one day, his best friend visited his house, he went through all his trophies and came across a rather peculiar one! It says"I am third." His best friend ask him what it meant and he said,"God is first! Friends and family are second and I am third!"

Well, this simple and straightforward story delivers the meaning into my heart! It really teaches us and tells us that we should put our God as number 1 in our lives! To learn that we must be selfless and we put God and others before ourselves. So today, let us just tell ourselves that no matter what we face, let us just turn to him and just share with him for he is always always by our side!

Let's us always just be third!

God Dependent

Hi F2034! What does it mean to be God dependent? Being God dependent is putting him in the core of our lives. There are times when we face problems that are too big for the flesh to overcome and that is when we have to be dependent on God. We can't run away from it because it's big and it's real but our God is just as real but much bigger then our problems. Remember that God will never put mountains in front of us to destroy us but he does so to bring us to a higher altitude. He does so to grow us. He does so to test us and this test is not for God to judge but for us to examine ourselves because already knows and whenever we are faced with a mountain, we just got to know God is still God and God is still greater than everything. So being God dependent is not just relying on God during times of difficulties but it's also about praising him in everything we do because everything we are doing has been planned by God. Everyday is a new day that God has made for us and we're dependent on everything he has done for us and things that are still going on. He could just take it all away and we're be left with nothing but he didn't because he knows we're dependent on that and that's why we got to praise him and be thankful and in everything we do, we just got to do it for the his glory because it's no longer yourself but Christ living in you.

Seek God with every new mountain and Praise God with every new day.

HEY F2034! This week's gunna be fun man! Let me list down the outings we're having so that you people don't forget!~

Tuesday - The church will be opening the satellite church for a worship session from 6-7pm! It's gonna be fun man! Let's all build the spiritual atmosphere over there! :D

Friday - Our very very veryyyy first F2034 CG! Yea! It's going to be awwwwwwwwweeeesome la! Imagine 3 cgs in one cg! Crazeh! It'll be on this friday, 4pm! Please try your best to comee!

Saturday- OUTING+REUNION LUNCH!!! HAHA! We're one big big big family, so obviously, when its CNY, we must have our reunion lunch!! Okay, here's the details - we will be meeting at 11am at the white gate, after that, we will head down to east coast park for the cycling outing! After that, we will be having our reunion lunch! It's gunna be cool man!!!

Detailed Faith

Yo guys. CG is on Saturday at 9.30am but let's be there by 9.15am. Let's have the habit of coming early and let it also be our culture and ethos.

Anyway, here I am to talk about detailedness of faith. The funny thing about life is that we live around special days built by the ordinary days that we're living in. So the thing is that we control the ordinary but not the extraordinary. When we lift the value of the ordinary, the value of the extraordinary will also rise up. Everyday is important because it's one new day! One day is a lot of time. It may not be compared to the number of days we actually live but sometimes we got to be less subjective and more objective and I think that's the key to being detailed. Be detailed in all our lives and and all our days. Once we've grasp that, I think we got to be faithful in those small details because only then will God be faithful to us. We will be given opportunities and all these opportunities are all coincidences which will reveal our destiny be it our decision. All these small things will add up.

So let's have detailed faith today.

Eagle Christians

Hi guys. Hope school for everyone have been fruitful so far.

Today, let's start to be like Eagles. During storms, while all the birds flee and fly to somewhere safe, the Eagle will still be soaring in the air. It uses the wind to help itself go to greater heights and above the clouds. Now, how does the Eagle do it? The Eagle has faith. We are very much like the Eagles and we have to have faith to rise above all challenges we face in life. Now, animals don't have the ability to worship gods so where does the Eagle put its faith in? It puts its faith in his wings believing his wings will be able to carry him through. Those wings are our prayers. The stronger our prayers, the stronger the ability we have to overcome the storm. When we pray, we pray with faith just like the Eagle who has faith in its wings. Now, when the storm comes, the Eagle goes even higher. When challenges come our way, withgreat faith, we will be able to overcome it and when we overcome it, we reach greater heights, greater altitude. Now this certainly proves being faith-filled is a great attitude since attitude determines our altitude. So, let's have no faith in worry and have no worry in faith. And this is the attitude of an Eagle Christian.

So this is my question today. What kind of birds do we want to be?

How's school so far man! Awesome right! Punishments,punishments and more punishments! Aiyo, it's nonsense la.

Anyway, the stupid VP of SA sortof shared why we needed ALOT of rules. She summed it up as "MORE RULES = MORE BLESSINGS". I was like ~.~ Newbz!

Crap. I was late on the first day of school :D

ANYWAY, God's been amazing man. He worked in the SA teamers and now, even the HOD of pupil welfare is on OUR side! Revival bodoh! :D HAHA. Oh yea, we bought a total of 60x16chipsmore cookies today. Pris is undergoing LOADS of tough training, tests, assignments, home works, etc D;. oh mann okay now i am set myself a new goal, i am going to stay online to the minimum each day to get my work done, get prepared for O's. yeahh, in the midst of this tough war, i will not forget my heavenly father! yeah.

oh mann i am literary left with 5 mins online. and off to bath and study my test for tomorrow, wish me luck. Lastly i believe in a revival in stnicks, SNGS SEATS FOR 30! starting our MAD ABOUT YOU on friday the orientation night. we are starting in our school what about you? HAHA!

Attitude Of Gratitude

Hey guys, let's talk about the attitude of gratitude!

What is the attitude of gratitude? It is being thankful. But this attitude is so important because it forces us to thank someone for something. It forces us to think about positives so that we can thank someone for something. Positivity is really powerful because water crystals are dependent on the emotions and feelings evoked from the surroundings be it sound, pictures or thoughts. How we feel reveals the state of our heart. The bible says that out of heart flows the issues of life. That means our heart controls our lives and future. If we can manage our heart and guard it from all negative thoughts, then won't our lives be positive? The 4th dimension is the dimension of the heart and the heart has no limit. So a 4th dimensional prayer is one that is faith-filled. There is no limit to faith although we have to be practical. So imagine if we have a heart that has limitless positiveness and faith! With that kind of heart, when we move, God will definitely move!

So why not have an attitude of gratitude today?

i can really see and visualise it now. three rows(if that makes up 30+) filled with F23 people turning up for CG, service. WOW. i can see it now, 50+ people turning up for a prayer meeting at my school that we may hold. WOW.

maybe, we shld start visualising too. haha. visualise that we shall be a leader leading people of our school?

what Pastor How said really impacted me. alining our vision, hearing, confession, touch and thoughts with God. sometimes i say "i cant, i cant!" and power seep away.

i think i should start seeing in God's sights too. sometimes i think soo much, that i totally push myself down and let faith turn into fear and doubts. irritating aint it?? haha!!

HEY GUYS!! so sorry havent been posting here!!! >< my internet crashed ytd, luckily it is back on today!! :D:D:D

ok, so basically, me and Aaron went into every sec1 class and welcomed them, saying "hi, welcome to MSHS!" i think we look rather crazy, but it was cool! and thanks denzel, for being late -.- HAHAHAHA. i was late by 5mins too, my bus BROKE DOWN in the midst of the journey. lets complain to SBS, or maybe the devil is trying to make me not to do it. HAHAHA. now, i am like blogging while you guys are all in service. i so miss you guys man. i so miss listening to sermon, to worship and praise, i miss fellowship! ><

anyway, i was a bit unhappy at myself, denzel took the courage to find out the name of a person that is sitting behind him, while i didnt even have the courage to say "whats your name" to the person next to me.
this year is so gonna be BUSY! i have to stay back EVERYDAY except monday until 3.35!!!!!! OMGOSH. HAHA

Coincidence Reveals Destiny

So today was first school and immediately I was presented an opportunity to bring salvation and I took it. I soon discover that lifting the value of your own day is actually dependent on lifting the value of the day of other's. Opportunities do pass by and we have to take them because every opportunities is coincidence. All opportunities randomly come to us and really, we have to create an expectancy of opportunities, have faith in it and be faithful in it. Coincidence reveals destiny. It could determine whether a spirit will go to heaven or hell and that's why taking opportunities is so important. But destiny also gives us a vision so that we will never go back to our past. We will never go back to the start. Vision is motivation. It gives us a sense of purpose. It gives us a reason to keep on going. It is really powerful. All real men need a vision for a destiny. A vision to finish this race well. However, we can't run this race by ourselves. Like Moses, we will grow tired but guess what! He had Aaron and Hur with him and they took a rock for him to sit on and they also held up with his hand for him. Sometimes, we need friends to give us strength to continue to run this race but more than that, we need God to rest upon and in the end of the day, the battle will be won and we will finish this race well.

God has really been amazing in 2008.
You've seen how much our church, zone and CG grew.
You've experienced Him yourselves.
There was a revival because you guys were radical for God.
Lets be radical christians even when school reopens.I know many of you guys are feeling sian about it but lets increase the value of our ordinary days. Lets do something great for God :)
Going to school can be quite boring and mundane. Yea, i know how you guys feel. HAHA.

Anyway, I am really excited for Zone F's first service this weekend.

Let's Build On This

Hey guys. For last week, we hit a combine total of 27! We are 13 people short by that's okay, let's build on this moment and create a momentum. For next week lets aim for 30! It's really very easy! It's just 3 more. We just got to have faith because all we really need is faith as small as a mustard seed. Let's do the supernatural so that the supernatural will happen. Prayer is supernatural so lets pray for more friends to bring to church and get them planted. Let's be prayer warrior and lets pray specifically. But other than faith, I believe we need love too because that is the most powerful thing. The bible says that with God, all things are possible but isn't God love? So, what it's really saying is that with love, all things are possible and I believe we have to love our integrations. Not just be friendly but sow kindness into their lives and I believe that will move something in their hearts. Incubate, invite, integrate. I believe incubation is not only being around our friends but also praying because then the presence of God hovering around our friends will be stronger. So yea, let's get 30 by this week! Let's start looking at things that never were and ask,"Why not?" It takes something different to be done to get something different done.

So... Seats for 30, why not?

school is starting in like, 3 MORE DAYS OMGOSH!

but no! we are so gonna have a great attitude in facing everyday, including TODAY! :D
i have been living with emotions, when anger comes, jealousy comes, sadness comes, joy comes, i just live by it and it is certainly NOT GOOD. i remember once when i was jealous, i was very angry, self-condemned and even drop tears! so it really swing me around like i keep RUNNING WILD!

and yesterday, it was a very emo day for me. i felt totally abandoned, jealous like there is no one for me. but God works in miraculous ways! i was smsing cheryl, jordan, but it took a loooong time for them to reply(they were busy!) and i felt like, wah, no one cares about me. but no, God is here! its just that i dun recognise him in time, and i blame the whole world, but not myself.
and i finally figured out, its because God wants me to seek Him first. God wants me to recognise that He is actually here for me! and that i dont need to fear, feel insecure and jealous. my sister had a loong time with me during sleeping time, and she was really very nice(cos if we were to be found out talking, we will DIE!), she just really explained that i should never to let this emotions to waver me. that i should just surrender all to God, knowing that He will be here to carry my burden.
She said that i shouldnt feel excluded, but i should make myself included. that i have been really doing great. and i should know how to deal with this things. she just said that i shouldnt just keep expect, expect and expect more of myself, and that i should listen to Cheryl, that is to enjoy christianity.
she even shared that she had been in church for 3years, not even a TL or CGL, but she isnt sad that she didnt rise up so high, cos she knows that God has a big plan for her. wow. i must have this kind of trust and reliance on God which i very very lack.
afterwards, she just asked me how i felt, i kept silent throughout, i was sad, at myself, for so not trusting God.

God has been telling me this few days "have a little more faith in me"
yet, i was too stubborn to listen. like what Dominic had said that time. the worst thing to know is that God shut His mouth and dont talk to us anymore.

i will listen. and today, the greatest thing God revealed to me. James 3:16 "For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there."
i was just randomly flipping the bible, and i saw this. wow, God is amazing.

we must read his word today!
p.s. my sister told me"if you wanna grow in wisdom, read His word! expect to receive something from God everytime you do quiet time!" :D

Hello ladies and gentleman! Denzel here back to blog! We have came to the last service of the year and well, as the new year begins, we must be ever radical to our church and Christ and also, we must constantly bring in new people and really reach out to them like what Marcus had said, being evangelistic!

Besides only reaching out to others, we must also constantly improve and upgrade ourselves base on our Pastors' teachings. Like, learning how to appreciate each and every ordinary day, having faith, taking responsibility and many many more(read your notebooks!)School re-opening is one great thing but as we progress in life, we will definitely face problems! But no matter what we face, we must not be afraid to say it and no matter how difficult it may be, the CG will face it together with you!

As a new year begins, we as one CG and Church are marching onwards to a brand new beginning! Let us step back into our schools, step up and take charge of our schools and rise-up to be a great leader!

Hello ladies and gentleman!!! This is Denzel if you actually don't know me. Well, its just after Christmas and I actually wanted to reflect upon myself as Pastor How preached today. Well, story time!

How I was actually brought to church by one Mr. Nice Guy in our class called Daryl See(Well, I didn't know his name was Daryl until I came here!!!). I was filled with hatred for my own class as I was verbally bullied in class. Got into fights very often and yea... was always in trouble. Daryl saw what was happening to me and he invited me to church! To go into the specifics.. Here:

During my past, my school(SAJS) would often talk about true friends and about being one. I would often think to myself,"Am I one? I have never met one before..." and so I didn't bother to try and be one either. Until I reached secondary where I met Daryl! He was really concerned for me and I was totally blown off!! Well, this was the true friend I am finding! As said, I was always being outcasted in the past and it started since Primary School. My mind was filled with hatred and resentment. There and then, I would tell Daryl and sometimes even scheme in front of him!(quite dumb right?) He saw it and invited me to church and I was moved. Here I am, writing and publishing this post here now!

Well, as said that Christmas is a time give and receive! So lets all give God our all and lets really pray that we will really break-through 40 people for our CG this year. I will give my all and try to fish for people to invite them for church! I am sure we'll be able to do it!!! Thats all folks! Thanks for reading!

Hi guys ;D i am priscilla. In case you don't know, i am from f20!

Just to tell you guys a story, i just graduated from BMT(A) and now i am going through BMT(B) usher training. During the first training i gave my 100% to God and serving his house, i really felt that i did my best. However i only scored 77% whereas for others, they scored way better than me. But that didn't stop me from giving my 100% to God, how many of you knows that we have to be radical for God and he will reward you. And today i still went for usher and gave my 100% to God, this time i score 84%. ;D

God sees whatever we are doing, He was just testing us if we would stay radical for Him, and of course we would right? So we must continue and not give up.

Same goes for integrating a new friend/ inviting your friends. When you first invite them, they may reject your invitation, however when you try again and again, they will eventually come. Never give up in them, because that's how you got saved as well. Your friends who invited you never gave up on you. So long as we continue, all things are possible. We will hit our goal of 40 and have 40 radical young mans and womens for God. How many of you know that this is possible? we still have one more week! ;D

Bring Revival All Over Again!

Hey guys. This is officially our new blog home for F20 and F23! Let's really update it regularly or else it will be dead... Just like the F23 one. Ha ha.

As we come to the end of the year, we really want to hit 40 together. Let's start to have a passion for evangelising and have a heart of evangelism. We are just a few in our own schools and indeed the harvest is lots but the sowers are few. Let's be inspired by Charleston. He grew North Brooks to 17 in one year! That's amazing. But how did he do it? He saw, kept, ran and passed on the vision. Many a times, we see a revival, we keep that vision with us and we pass it on. But we always forget to run with it and not just running with the vision alone but with those that have been planted in church with and when you don't stick with the vision, you lose and when you lose it, you will see no future and and when you see no future, you will go back to your pass and that means you will backslide. So what's the point if we keep inviting but we keep having older ones backslide. We will never grow spiritually and we need to grow in the spirit because if we don't then we can't see things in the spirit and if we can't then it mostly likely won't be able to come to pass.

Be inspired. Be impacted.
